On 1 June 2020, the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China passed its first-ever Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China (the “Civil Code”).  From the perspective of the newly promulgated Civil Code, TianTong’s cross-border dispute resolution team addresses the legal rules concerning the definition and incorporation, validity, and interpretation of standard terms in this featured article.  Recent updates on Chinese law are also provided.
