Meng Yetian is a partner at Tian Tong Law Firm. She graduated from Renmin University of China and acquired her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Law. Meng is experienced in the field of civil and commercial litigations and specializes in handling disputes in the fields of contract, corporation, finance and real estate. She is especially well-known for her expertise in cross cases involving both civil and administration procedures.
Meng has handled hundreds of cases in the People’s Supreme Court and higher people’s court of various provinces, many of which are now deemed as key precedents. She has received numerous awards and recognition, including2018 "Best Commercial Dispute Case" by the SGLA (Sino-Global Legal Alliance). Among the cases she handled are the first VIE structure case heard by the Supreme People’s Court and a contract dispute selected by the Supreme People’s Court as typical Belt and Road related precedence.
Meng hosts the “Tian Tong Commentary” column of the firm’s WeChat media platform. She has not only created and maintained a high quality professional discussion platform, but also prompted collaborations with other firms and institutions within the Chinese legal community, receiving unanimous complimentary feedbacks.
