Mr. Xin Zhengyu focuses on the resolution of difficult and complex civil and commercial disputes. He has served as arbitrator in major domestic arbitration institutions in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, and has rich experience in litigation and arbitration. His main practice areas and specialties include major commercial contract disputes, investment and financing guarantee disputes, real estate development and construction disputes, and corporate governance disputes. He has participated in many cases with great influence in the industry.
Mr. Xin is deeply involved in the basic theory of law. He is the deputy editor of "Jurisprudence - Legal Philosophy, Legal Methodology and Artificial Intelligence", and advocates and participates in the project between Nanjing University and TianTong on the commentary on the code of laws. Mr. Xin continues to pay attention to the practice and the frontier of adjudication of the new financial industry, participating in the research of the key topic of China Securities Association in 2019, "Research on Civil Liability of Underwriters for Misrepresentation under Bond Default Scenario and Risk Prevention", and the key topic of 2020, "Research on Civil Liability of Issuers and Intermediaries for Misrepresentation under IPO Registration System". He is responsible as project leader for the major judicial research topic of the Supreme People's Court in 2020, the “Legal Issues in the Trial of Business Trust Dispute Cases". Mr. Xin has published more than 100 articles in core journals and other academic books and magazines, and is the lead author/host of the column "Civil and Commercial Xin Says" in TianTong’s influential official blog on Wechat “TianTong Litigation Circle”, which regularly publishes professional articles and builds a platform to bridge the civil and commercial law theory and practice.
